3-Alarm Fire Destroys 8 Apartments

IRVING, Texas -- Investigators are trying to figure out what started a fire that caused at least $350,000 in damage, NBC 5 reported.
The blaze at Rochelle Plaza Apartments started at about 10 a.m. on Sunday, authorities said.
Eight apartments were destroyed or heavily damaged in the three-alarm fire, firefighters said.
While firefighters were battling the blaze, a chimney fell onto them and trapped at least one firefighter. He was pulled out by other firefighters and suffered minor cuts and burns.
There was no word yet on what caused the fire, authorities said.
