This same thing may happen with Lee Malvo the other sniper and who really was the trigger man. This may have the implication that both may get off the death penalty sentence as there will be claims of insanity.

Did anyone watch the movie "DC Sniper: 23 Days Of Fear?" It wasn't anything spectacular. It played out like a re-enactment of the events on "Unsolved Mysteries" or something. It wasn't awful, though. I was surprised, however, when during one scene, Muhammed said, "Allahu Akbar" as Malvo was getting into position to shoot the next victim.
Had anyone heard about this before? This, in conjunction with the "Call Me God" message on the tarot card, confuses me. Does the guy think he is God (Allah)? Did he change his name when he converted to Muslim or is he even Muslim? Does he have any symphathies toward al-Qaeda?
He strikes me as having the same type of personality as a lot of cult leaders that we've seen in the past. However, he only had one follower.
The whole thing is strange.

USA is pretty good about re-airing their movies a couple of times.

Interesting, a movie on such an awful 23 day period in United States history. Hopefully it isn't too gruesome.

Most cable network rebroadcast their premiere presentations. Usually when they are on Sunday night, they are on at least on Saturday afternoon; besides the possible mid-week re-airing.

I heard a snipet of his defense line this morning on Fox and Friends...to a witness of the shooting ---> "Did you see me shoot the weapon" (or something to that effect).
If this is his defense, he might as well hang himself now. He will face the same punishment if convicted as the trigger man...does he not realize that?

I'm just wondering though, how is it that they can air a movie about something that is still in the trial phase?

Good point. The case should be finished up before a movie is made.
