"Who lives in a pineapple under the sea? SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS!!"
LOL@myself! Just needed to break away from the debates for a second and that commercial was just on TV.
And that concludes the musical segment of our show.

What's Pepper Ann?

Pepper Ann was an ABC Saturday morning cartoon with the voices of Kathleen Wilhoite, Pam Segall, Don Adams, and Kathy Najimy, to name a few. It was about an teen girl in middle school and her goofy friends, trying to be cool but always getting into some kind of mix up. She was so sarcastic and funny. I'm sort of a closeted fan of Wilhoite. She's not a major celeb...not glamorous, not award-winning (yet). She's had recurring roles on "L.A. Law" and "ER" plus a handful of other appearances on everything from "Touched By An Angel" to "Will & Grace." She's one of those faces you'd recognize, but not necessarily know her name. Plus, she's a pretty good singer. I have an odd collection of debut albums from actors who have also taken a stab at singing/songwriting (and some are quite talented) -- Michele Greene (Abby "L.A. Law"), Wilhoite, Lisa Whelchel (Blair "Facts Of Life"), Jill Hennessy ("Crossing Jordan"), Sherrie Krenn Austin (Pippa "Facts Of Life"), Lori Singer - cello music (Julie "Fame"). Waiting to get Helen Slater's (Supergirl) new album.
And I'm sure that's more than you cared to know.
Bedtime now. G'night!

Earplugs.........where are my earplugs? LOL
Thanks Shawn for that wonderful theme song!!!!
A song I never, ever hear around my house - wrong, I hear just about every single day!
I have one daughter who's into sitcoms (like me, she's a huge Friends fan, like her mom!) but Laura is so into cartoons that I sometimes just can't relate. And comic books! Another area that's foreign to me. But I just smile and try not to say anything.
Sponge Bob is one wacky show though - wish I had thunk it up!

HR Puff ~N~ Stuff?? My God, I haven't heard of ANYONE other than myself who use to watch that show! I watch TV Land a lot, funny, I don't remember half of the old shows being that Hookey! Take Bonanza for instance, talk about HOOKEY! PHEW.....they rode horses all day and their make up was perfect and their clothes were NEVER dirty! Gunsmoke on the other hand, with my buddy Festus "LOL!" Gotta LOVE that Gunsmoke......YES, I'm addicted BIG TIME!
NOW.........I like Sponge Bob! It's soooooooo stupid, what's NOT to like about it!

Hey Dennis - now I don't feel so old!!!
Did you ever watch Coronet Blue? My mom and I got into that drama/mystery type show. Frank Converse was the star. He was wandering around trying to reclaim his memory and find out what the phrase "cornonet blue" meant. He was always in danger too. Kept you on the edge of your seat each week. Then it was cancelled. We never found out what those words meant!
If you ever want to know something about an old show, go to this website.
http://www.jumptheshark.com/
Current and old shows are listed. Fans write in and you learn things about an old show you never knew before. Look near the top left corner, for A-Z, click on a letter to take you to a list of shows starting with that letter. They're all there just about. Pretty cool site.

Jump The Shark!!! Another great website!
I remember HR Puff N Stuff. All that Sid and Marty Krofft stuff was good. Remember the Krofft Superstar Hour? They had the Bay City Rollers and Electra Woman & Dyna Girl!

Shawn - yes it is a neat site! I go to it often. And I'm very proud one of my all time favorite shows - St. Elsewhere - is listed among the very few, in fans' opinions/votes, DID NOT JUMP! Yes, indeedy St. E. is a classic.
