Once again prayers are needed

Seems I've come asking for prayers more than ever this year, I find it necessary once again to ask for y'alls thoughts and prayers. It's offical, Michelles sister Marci, did in fact lose her house to the Cedar Fire in Julian, Calif. Out of 240+ homes in the Pines Hills Subdivision of Julian, over 60% of the homes burnt to the ground, her's being one of them. Over 150 years of family history, pictures, antiques were lost BUT......like it's been said, she made it out with her life unlike so many unfortunate people in Southern Calif.

Michelles first scheduled flight was to be next Friday, the Julian Fire Dept, USDA Forest service said that it would be at least another week before they let anyone in, WELL.....it's POURING rain out there right now so they are allowing the residents back in tomorrow, so Michelle changed her flight to Sunday....then the hard stuff kicks in, sifting thru the ashes. I'm not going, I can't, I have to stay here and run the business.

Dennis - and now this tragedy really hits home. First we prayed relentlessly for Steve's son and family, Jason/Deb/Sweet Emma, and now your sister-in-law has lost her home Dennis! OMG, it just suddenly feels so personal. I was praying for all the poor folks big time, will do so more now! Prayers going out to your family Dennis. Sad, sad situation. I hope I'm making sense. Before it just feel personal to me, now it really does. I know someone who lost their home, indirectly. Your heart just goes out to all who lost their homes.

I am so sorry to hear about your sister in-law's loss. I can't even begin to imagine what that would be like. My thoughts and prayers are with them and with you as well as you continue to keep the home fires burning while Michelle is away.

Thanks gang.....it's truly sad, I know material posessions in the whole scheme of things cannot even compare to life, life is so very precious but still, you can't help but feel for these people who lost precious memories, photos.

Marci is tough, she'll get through this, she has to, what other choice does she have? She leads that fast paced, California life style......in the 6 years I've known her, she has never once stopped to smell the roses, appreciate those around her, at times, she is so self consumed but this has REALLY brought her to her knees and has made her more aware of people around her, appreciate the sunrise, sunsets, her friends, family.........

I was hoping that hers was spared. It sounded like the firefighters did all they could to save the town of Julian - what was left of it. I'm glad that she is alright Dennis.

Thanks for your thoughts and prayers........today is going to be a BAD day, this is the day they let the residents back in. Marci talked to her sheriffs dept friend last night, said the devestation is beyond comprehension.

Well, Marci's up there in Julian, she called a little bit ago on the cell phone, there is nothing left of the house what so ever  The fire place is the only thing standing, she said that it looked like there was never a house there  so far, she's found one flower vase and that's it, everything is super fine powdery ash  She's doing pretty good, as well as can be expected I guess.

Dennis
