milo is like powdered chocolate that you stir and mix in with milk.

Muslie is like mix fruit nuts and oat flakes(breakfast ceral). - its health food...basically.

I like banana sandwiches with lots of mayo and ham. Also like to dip bananas in mayo.

I like a good JMC. Grape Jelly on one slice of white bread. Miracle Whip light on the other with orange American cheese in the middle.

Deb, my mom used to make PB, mayo, and banana sandwiches when I was little. And a couple of years ago, a relative brought a salad/dessert (?) to our Christmas reunion. It was made with sliced bananas, peanuts chips, and mayo -- tasted like the sandwich. Elvis had the sandwiches fried (not sure I'd go for that). So I suppose that's not so strange, although some people haven't heard of it.

I'd never heard of BBQ beef on baked potatoes until I moved down here. And down here, no one seems to know about corn pudding for Thanksgiving.

I like cheese on my peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.

And I like mayo on Pizza Subs from Subway. The lady working always gives me a funny look. ;)

Yaaay! I knew what Muslie and Milo was!
I used to get the "Australian Connection"
catalog....

Does chocolate candy with a diet soda count
as being "strange"...? ;)

Another strange combo I like is Ruffles plain potato chips and scooping chocolate ice cream. Or dipping french fries in chocolate milkshake. Oh great. Now I'm starving.

This reminds me, whenever I witness my "Roasted Chicken Breast Sub" being made with absolutely nothing on it. I just add ketchup from home... the person (one woman in particular a couple times) rolling her eyes asking me if I was sure I wanted nothing else on it.

I like sugared peanut butter and butter sandwiches. My mom doesn't know where I picked it up from- one slice of buttered bread, one slice of bread with peanut butter and sugar sprinkled in the middle. Yum!

And I could live off of smoked salmon (lox) on saltine crackers.... but that's not quite as far of a stretch since I know some people eat Lox on bagels... and really- they're both bread products... right? 8-)

Pancakes, cut into four wedges, then rolled into cones which are then filled with curried chicken and HOT peppers..."Wakes ye oop in th' mornin', boy!"

I'd like to make REAL chapatti (an Indian subcontinent pancake) for this, but I have yet to find a recipe for them. I first had these in the summer before 6th grade, when I was at St. Louis University with some foreign grad students on an "enrichment" program, and want to "introduce" them to coppertop...

As with almost any recipe, there are a few different versions. I hope one of them brings back the flavor you miss and helps you introduce them to Coppertop. :)
