Just came in from the roof. Splendid sight indeed. 7:06 pm CST exactly it was totally covered. But I think that my ears are redder than the moon.(19 degrees) Although I could see a definate reddish tint. No ice crystals in the air like I had hoped, but what the heck. Clear skies here and great view.

I had clear sky until 7:50pm. At 8:06 not a star in sight. Where did these clouds come from.

No problem viewing it here, 20 to 25 miles south of Ocala. However, there is a small patch of thin cloudiness below the moon.

The cold front is moving into the area. It is draped from the Jacksonville, FL to Gainesville, FL areas.

Couds did end up filtering the moon and the eclipse, but when it was in a clear spot, you could definately see red. It was really cool.

I took a snapshot when a third of it was covered with my camera, I hope it comes out!
