I am a huge movie buff and see as many as I can. Is anyone here of a like mind?
I have to recommend Mystic River for some of the best acting (Tim Robbins, and almost as good is Sean Penn) I've ever seen.

I prefer movies to almost any other entertainment- but I tend to rewatch the ones I have, and pick up new ones on heavy recommenadation, rather than chase after new ones. My all time favorite is Ever After.
I saw the third Matrx movie on IMAX. VERY cool. I'm in love wiht IMAX!

I am far from a movie buff you can get (180°)
I have only seen 25 to 30 movies in the movie theatre in my 26.3 years of life.
(I turned 26.3 years old on Tuesday, November 4th at 1:40am) Over half of them I have seen with one of my brother's.
The first movie I saw in a movie theatre was "The Muppets Take Manhattan" and I believe the second was "Three Men and a Baby."
If 'you' can't follow the plot, why see a movie?

EVER AFTER!! That is a good one. I can't believe you like that one OG.
I do not have time to go to a movie unless I HAVE to see it. Just saw Radio last Sunday. I HAD to see it so I made time to go. Any other time I wait for them to come on cable.

One of the advantages of having PPV and an all-movie channel cable is that I get to see all the new movies almost as fast as they are first viewed in theaters...and Ever After is one of MY favorites, too.

I can't say that I am a movie buff, but Mystic River does look good. So does "Radio" and "Masters and Commanders" with Russell Crowe.
My favorite movies of all time (no particular order);
- On Golden Pond
- Turning Point
- Four Seasons
- When Harry Met Sally
- Same Time Next Year
- Julia
- Platoon
- Glory
- Dances with Wolves (though I can't watch the end

)
- Armaggedon
- Hunt for Red October
