Hes being allowed to surrender himself??? Hes a dangerous criminal not someone who didnt pay a traffic ticket. He should be taken into custody immediately!

It is what you call "innocent until proven guilty"

Linda you are right....but typically the police dont deal with accused sex offenders in this manner. Money talks.

He's in Nevada. California authorities can't just go there and arrest him.

Here's your 3 million for bail and a extra million for your trouble and free concert tickets for the kids.

It's actually normal for "high profile" arrests. The time and place are arranged through the accused parties lawyer. :-)

Its not like he can flee....he's Michael Jackson. Is he going to put on a disguise and slip through the airport? Heck...his nose gives him a way!

Actually, it is possible. He could have plastic surgery, put on a wig, change his skin appearance, and alter his voice. Oh wait...you're right. That wouldn't work.

Lol, this is getting out of hand. I hope (if he is guilty) they lock him up for a long time, but he'll buy his way out and spend the rest of his life in Neverland. Geez

Nope, I bet by the time this is over, he won't own Neverland any more. I just heard on the Neal Cavuto show that he took out a 3 Million Dollar loan last year. You know his defense is going to cost tons of money. And this latest escapade will surely be the end of his career.

UM... innocent till proven guilty..I know he is a "freak" but he still could be innocent. Maybe someone trying to cash in on him.. I want to hear the facts..again I ask IF he abused these kids as alleged where were the parents and why would they let their kids near him after what happened before. Answer that

Michael Jackson would never have to take out a loan. It is reported the guy is worth a half billion. His attorneys are also paid a lump sum a year to be at his beckon call. So I highly doubt that his defense will break him either.

Plus he owns the rights to most (all?) of the Beatles albums as well as to his own.

I was wrong - he currently OWES 300 MILLION dollars and would need to gross 400 MILLION dollars in the next two years in order to break even. This is what the news reports are saying, not what I have made up. I'm sure all this money he's worth is tied up in "things", and all this negative publicity has to be bad for the future sales of albums, etc. He may pay attorneys retainers to represent him but I'm pretty confident that Mark Geragos (sp) and Johnny Cochran are not going to accept a retainer's fee to represent him on these charges.

And I agree with the comment regarding the families of these kids - after the first accusation, I wouldn't let my kids near this guy. The episode in Paris would further cement that decision. And he went "on the record" at an even later date saying that he sees nothing wrong with sleeping with boys. These parents needs to have their heads examined as well. But then again, Michael was known to buy these families, offering them cars, expensive vacations, and in one case, even a house.
