Duck - how about a single letter. You know S for Susan! I'm dying to know too. I've already informed my family, do not bother me when ER starts tonight. I'm taping too, just in case the phone should ring and it's a call I can't avoid. LOL

I've already prepared myself for Carter dying at some point possibly, since NW doesn't want to renew his contract after it's up. And Luka said he wants to go back to the Congo. Romano's too nasty to die......so who's left to shock us to our core. I say Susan. But I don't want her to die!!!!

The man who died from Fame did die from a stroke and was HIV Positive (if you remember which one he was, you wouldn't be surprised).

Lee Anthony Ray or Ray Anthony Lee or something like that.

They say, "Never trust a man with three first names."

Anyway, here it comes...less than one minute!

I'll explain the clue after the episode airs. :)

Warning -- if you're on the west coast, don't read any further unless you want to know.

Okay -- first clue was the reference to Fame. Paul McCrane (the now late-great Robert Parker "Rocket" Romano on ER) starred, sang, and composed music for the motion picture "Fame." He played Montgomery MacNeil.

Other clues during the show:

~If you listened closely, Paul McCrane was the ER actor who said, "Previously on ER..." at the beginning of tonight's episode. It was his last chance to say it.

~Romano told Pratt, "You've just p***** me off for the last time, Pratt." Yup, it will be the last time.

~The whole helicopter thing should have been a clue. Frank asking him, "Shouldn't you be on the roof?" and then telling him he didn't blame him for being scared to go back up there.

~Frank snapped a picture of Romano. Good for the memory books.

If you happened to check http://www.imdb.com and look up "ER," you'd see "(1997-2003)" next to Paul McCrane's name in the credits, which would reveal that this was his last season on the show.

Now I just wonder who is going to inherit his gold-tone stethoscope. I've only seen two TV docs use one of those -- Romano and the main guy on Scrubs.

RIP, Rocket -- 1958-2003

Well, no more Romano to kick hospital employees around anymore.
Hadn't watched ER in a LONG time but did tonight!

Duck - man you're good. I did think as Frank was taking pics someone in the spotlight would get it. And when he's goading Romano to go up on the roof, it crossed my mind. I never thought the copter would fall on top of him. Talk about your worst nightmare coming back to haunt you.

I'm glad it wasn't Susan and now it looks as if she's got a second chance with her ex. When they hugged, I said - awwww, how sweet. They really love eachother.

Good to see Carter at the end too. I've missed him.

The friendship between Luka and the kid is very odd. He needs to wake up and not do stuff like that (playing video games with him in a previous ep). He should know better. At times the kids mom seems too young to be his mom - it's more like she's his sister. She's a tough one.

It was fun speculating what would happen tonight! Almost like my former Dallas days......I was so into that show, you wouldn't believe it if I told you some things. LOL

Well, I take back what I said about his stethoscope. Obviously, it's scorched to a crisp.

I'm suprised no one found out yet about his death. Then again, it took two episodes ("All In The Family" and "Be Still My Heart") to bring an end to Kellie Martin's (Lucy Knight) stint on ER.

I can't believe they got the photos developed that quickly. On Thanksgiving?

Duck - at the end as they were lifting the copter it seemed as if they were going to find him. If there will be a trace that is. There will be something I'm sure to identify him with. Probably the arm!

Maybe the camera was an old Polaroid? I used to work for surgeons and we used one. We needed instant pictures. This was years ago, now I'm sure ER's and docs would use digital camera's.

The new young doc with asthma I like. The one who got high, I can't stand. What a weasel! He sure seems in the wrong profession. The guy with asthma's right in there, puffing away on his inhaler but working hard. Gotta like that. I remember that actor from the ill fated That 80s Show. He worked in the funky High Fidelity type record store.

LOL! You're right. It will probably be the arm that identifies him.

Oh, yeah...Gene Anthony Ray was the name of the Fame actor who died this past week. He played Leroy.

Romano will somehow miraculously live through this, maybe he fell into an open manhole or something. He is just too damned nasty to die.

But it did look as though the firefighter shining his flashlight under the choppper at the end was looking at something. Can't wait until next week now. Danged suspene is killing me.

I'm sorry, Bliz. But he's really gone. :(

If it was a soap opera or Dallas, there might be the possibility of him returning. But it's not. The memorial has already been written into the script. That's how I knew his middle name was Parker. Will Elizabeth ever get a chance to breathe without having to grieve over another loss? You gotta admit...Romano sure was lovestruck with her.

Carter will be back in a couple of episodes, but then they'll have a flashback episode back in Africa so they can catch us up on what happened to him while he was there. Another character who has been missing for a while will be back and I'm happy about it. :)

And we'll be introduced to some of Gallant's family.

I'm still trying to figure out Luka's motives with Alex.

It was the best episode yet this year, and yes Ramano got CRUSHED..
He has left the show...

The "Q" is will John Carter return?? or will NOAH WYLE leave as well??
