Yes overseas the US has to watch very closely their interests around the world and that is what here in Puerto Rico they are doing as the Roosvelt Roads naval base, the Federal buildings and the post offices in San Juan I haved noticed an increased security in those places and those are apart from the international airport.

Hmmm... why wouldn't they move it to orange if they are issuing this kind of alert?

How sad to realize that young people of today are growing up with such different challenges than my own! As a child of the sixties, we relished in striving for uniqueness.....and watched with saddened souls as others brought on their own destruction. Not only are WE, as adults, distraught at what possibilites may lie ahead for our great nation.........unfortunately, our youth are being raised in such a different global environment than any of us could imagine.

I work with young people every day. Sometimes I think there are those who see no future for them at all......how very sad. Parental involvement is surely the key in healthy outlooks!!

(Didn't mean to ramble......just had a challenging week!).....p

And in the Fifties and Sixties, we were always living under the spectre of nuclear attack (I remember the "duck-and-cover" drills well), when the doctrine of survival was called "MAD" (Mutual Assured Destruction) and Khrushchev pounded his shoe on the table at the U.N...and my Dad had a pocket dossimeter he had to carrry at all times.
