Police Say Dead Man Had Organs Missing

PHILADELPHIA -- Autopsy results could come today on the man whose body was found -- with the heart and other organs missing -- in an abandoned Philadelphia rowhouse.
The city medical examiner's office, which started the autopsy yesterday, is trying to determine the cause of death.
Police say they don't know if they have a homicide on their hands, or if someone abused the corpse after a natural death or drug overdose.
Police describe the victim as a black man, apparently in his 30s, who apparently had been dead a day or two before his body was found Friday

The removal of organs is often done by members of Satanic cults for use in their rituals. There are often stories of grave desecration for this purpose as well.
Lots of sick people in the world.

mf_dolphin, there is also an increasing demand for organs on the black market...yet it is known that Jamaican drug gangs use the organs of their victims in rituals as well.
The possibilities are infinite...but I AM reading the labels on Annabelle's dog food more carefully! (Speaking of which...the POOR HO" pulled her left rear knee joint today
: we took her to the animal ER and got anti-inflammatories for her little self.)

This kind of thing goes on in SA quite often, the witchdoctors use body parts for "mootie" or medicine, There was a spate of disgusting butcheries to young boys a while back. I remember mothers being very nervous of letting there children go into public restrooms alone. Quite a sick place this modern world we live in!

I dunno, this sounds like an urban legend. If it really is true, they could tell in the autopsy about the level of skill used in removing the organs. That would give an indication of their intended use.
I know that there are certain things that the mafia do to corpses, as a sign for others not to do what a person did.
