I hope if they prove this guy was at anyway involved in this girl's death, that justice be done. It is just plain sad what some people will do.

Omaha police have arrested a man in connection with the death of 17-year-old girl.

Sergeant Kathy Gonzalez says 21-year-old Verdell Moss of Omaha was arrested on suspicion of being an accessory to a felony in connection with the death of Michelle Harlan.

Gonzalez would not say how Moss was believed to be connected to Harlan's death.

Harlan's body was discovered Saturday in Carter Lake by a person visiting Levi Carter Park to observe eagles and other wildlife.

The victim's parents told Channel 6 news that Harlan was eight-months pregnant at the time of her death.

I second that motion. The girl was just beginning to turn her life around also, looking at getting her GED, applying to a post-secondary school, and a job.

I have a friend who has a daughter, goes to school, and has a job. If something like this happened to her, I'd be fuming.

this was my niece she is truely missed, Im now raising her child to whom to this day is being treated for depression at 8 yrs old he will never get what he deserves.
