Yesterday here many members thought that the Saddam's capture was going to impulse a big rally in wall street but after an upward trend then selling came at the last hour of trading.Oil closed higher by .14 after going down over $1.00 a barrel but as the dow the price went up at the last hour too.

Lindaloo and Stephanie the rally went away as investors were more concentrated at domestic issues I heard late this afternoon such as earnings from companys.

I couldn't see where Saddam would've had any impact on the Stock Market. Sure it was a momentous occasion, but I think that the American people already knew that it was going to happen sooner or later, and it will not change what we are doing over there for quite some time to come.
Just my 2 cents worth

There was some "profit-taking" today which did much to drop the Dow, NASDAQ and S&P; fuel prices rose as well.

I am so disappointed by the markets today!! I just knew it would hit an all time high.

There was alot of selling too. Not what I wanted to see right after "WE GOT HIM"

Thanks for posting this Ceye.
