ANALYSIS

THE WASHINGTON POST

all because of bush delays and vacillation

The UN is hurting us big time. They have become a thorn in President Bush's side.

The United Nations is irrelevent IMO. They were formed to enforce world laws. If they had done so with Iraq, we would not even be mentioning Saddam today.

sadly isolationalism will make our situation even worse. The last thing we wanna do is totally alienate ourselves and even look bad towards our allies.

I agree JQ (not public either hehe!). Hopefully we won't need Russia's Germany or France's help (though I doubt the French would help regardless) if we end up with a war on two fronts.

The United States will NEVER look bad in any one nations eyes. We have a reputation for not taking any bull. Especially if they come to our soil and kill our own people. Let us not forget what the Japs said after they bombed Pearl Harbor... "I feel all we did is awake a sleeping giant". How right they were!!

I am not worried about what other countries think, they will come around when they need money or favors as they always do.
