Church UPDATE

Ask and you shall recieve storm 2ker's. here is an update on what's going on over at my church regarding the 2 we have been praying for.

We begin with Amber Barton, the 16 year old. She had successful surgery yesterday to have that pancreatic procedure. She did have a fever today as well so their is slight worry about an infection. But assuming all goes well. They say she may actually be out of the hospital by about a month from now. She has rehab ahead of her, which is why she can't immediately go home.

21 year old Rachel is not so lucky  She is "too weak" to have her surgery according to doctors. Rachel is in need of a double lung transplant. I hope she builds some strength because I wanna see her get better, I know that much.

So good news so far from Amber, but the news appears to be getting worse for Rachel

I'm glad to hear that Amber's surgery went well.

I hope that Rachel does get stronger so she can have that operation.

They are both in my prayers!

I continue to wish Amber and Rachel the best. Hopefully Rachel does indeed get the strength she needs to have the procedure done.

The struggles that Amber and Rachel face are not new to them. It is obvious through this post, and through your caring heart, John, that they are lucky to know you...to have you in their lives.

At a time of year when giving, not receiving, takes center stage, I believe you yourself deserve the gift of love, peace, and compassion...and I personally thank you for being there for these two special young ladies.

May your own Christmas be warm and His gentle smile shine on your face during these days.
