I wish that my school district would start exams before the Christmas Holiday, but this year they start after New Year's Day.

coppertop's exams don't come until after the holiday break...BUT!

I'm already done with exams.

My daughter is in the middle of midterms right now. They had one test Tuesday, two each on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

They tried having midterms after Christmas one year and it just didn't work. The kids didn't study over the holidays!

So completely true! I think they should definitely test before hand. I finished my last final this week. Yea! Good luck to all those who haven't taken theirs yet.

All of the elementary, middle, high schools, and colleges in my area are finishing up the semester this week.

Mine started today... end Tuesday, which is the last day of school until Jan. 6th.

I had tests the week before Christmas Vacation, but they weren't finals... the school year wasn't halfway over until the last week of January; starting school in early September and getting out in mid to late June.

It would be nice to know if the school district I was a part of in Massachusetts has school on Friday, January 2nd.
