The "funny" thing is.. CNN, MSNBC, and FoxNews websites all aint saying diddly squat about it.

and I just read the story. Makes me wonder if they have such information about it, whether this Al Qaeda operative will have the audacity to try to pull it off.

Imminent Threat?
U.S. Intelligence Learn of Suicide Bombing Threat to New York City
Dec. 19— U.S. intelligence has received information about a credible and imminent threat to New York City, ABCNEWS has learned.
Sources say the threat involves a suicide bomber, possibly a female. The information was received through communication intercepts, and no specific target has been identified. Discussions between local and federal law enforcement officials are currently under way to develop a response.
Officials around the nation were already actively engaged in serious discussions with the Department of Homeland Security about whether events, chatter, and the time of year warrant elevating the threat level inside the United States to orange for the upcoming holiday season that starts tonight at sunset.

My feeling is that they (terrorists) think if they chatter enough, our HS guys will think that serious planning is in the works and they'll declare a "credible and imminent threat" -- thus, allowing terrorism to create terror.

I wish I could feel as confident as you do, but this kind of stuff worries me, but doesn't terrorize me. It is so true about what my communications instructor said during the last week of class... "Weak people rule the world". The terrorists can mainpulate and change things just because they have bombs. How sad...
