I hope everyone has a safe and wonderful Christmas or whatever holiday you may be enjoying this time of year. Catch ya in about 9 days, I hope.

Could I ask that you please say a prayer for me? I've had some horribly fatalistic thoughts as this trip has been approaching and my best friend told me last night, before I told her about my own worries, that her fiance told her that she was yelling for me in her sleep on Thursday night. She said she then remembered, although she couldn't recall all the details, that she had dreamed I was in a wreck. I NEVER worry like this...I just have an uneasy feeling and I don't know why. I'm a careful driver, but I don't always know what the other driver is going to do. Besides, who's to say it's going to be a wreck? Well, it doesn't matter now because nothing's going to happen because I've posted about it. I mean, NO one really knows when they're going to die and you never hear about people talking about it before it happens, right?

Okay, now that that's off my chest, I have nothing to worry about.

I'll check in when I get to KY. Take care, everyone! Lyle and everyone else also traveling -- have a safe one!

Hey Duck...you are a person full of life and forever looking out for the rest of us. Only fair that we give your safety a little extra throught during your trip. I'm sure it will be a wonderful one.

Just be careful driving out there - there's snow in the forecast for the Ohio Valley.

ENJOY your holidays - don't let the dream put a damper on them, but just BE CAREFUL! We'll look forward to hearing about your holiday when you return!

Shawn just called me...she is near the KY state line as I post this...no problems thus far, though she does report that the temperature has dropped some 20 degrees since she last stopped...
