Why pay for him to live in jail the rest of his life? I hope he gets the death penalty.

What a crock is all I can say....I wonder if the jusdge can upgrade the sentence?

Unless they keep him in solitary confinement, his life won't be worth SPIT in "stir"...my guess is his "life expectancy" can be measured in weeks.

But the DA will appeal the sentence.

He still has several more trials to go... Prosecuters call this the Christmas effect. That's why they hate trying cases this time of year..

OH, yeah..DC, Maryland, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia and Washington State want their days in court, too. And then, the Federal charges...

"Yes, Virginia, there IS a Santa Claus!"

It's not over by any means for him as he will have court dates to all the rest of those cases that you said Bill..

Maybe death will stick in one of the other states.

I think he still has other Virginia counties that want his butt too... This is far from over IMO

I kind of agree on the sentence, primarily because of the fact that I believe that only treason should warrant execution as that is the most serious offense that can be comitted. The most severe punishment should be reserved for the most serious offense, IMO. Life in solitary fits the bill just fine. He now has about 60 years to think about what he has done

I'll agree with you in the treason but the pre-meditated murder of 10 people is more than enough grounds for the death penalty. IMO He is old enough to be responsible for his actions and the punishment should fit the crime..
