Can you say someone needs attention???
The Associated Press
DENVER Dec. 24 — The parents of slain 6-year-old JonBenet Ramsey filed a $12 million federal defamation lawsuit against Fox News Network over a story they say cast suspicion on them.
In the lawsuit filed Tuesday in Atlanta, John and Patsy Ramsey took issue with a report that aired last year for the six-year anniversary of JonBenet's death. In it, a Denver-based employee stated there has "never been any evidence to link an intruder to her brutal murder."
John and Patsy Ramsey have maintained their innocence and said an intruder killed JonBenet, who was found strangled and beaten Dec. 26, 1996, in the basement of their Boulder home. The Ramseys now live in Atlanta.
Prosecutors and a federal judge have said evidence in the case was more consistent with the theory that an intruder killed JonBenet. The parents were never charged.
A Fox employee in Denver referred questions to the network's New York office. Fox News spokesman Robert Zimmerman said he was unaware of the lawsuit and declined comment.

Hah FoxNews needs to be sued. Their lawsuit against Al Franken was unbelievable

Thankfully it got laughed out of court

And why is it you think they need to be sued? Because you dont like how another lawsuit went? Just curious

Well then maybe they should try to sue the public opinion too. That lawsuit will be thrown out.

Well, the Tabloids would have been more suitable target. The National Enquirer, and those other tabloids basically came out and said "Proof that Jon Benet's mother killed her" and such. And they're going after FOX NEWS?
I'm sorry. EVERY NEWS MEDIA outlet scrutinized them and delved deep into the archives of the Ramsey's bringing up every detail that they could about them.

I read this news on JonBenet Ramsey's parents on MSNBC's news ticker yesterday evening, Christmas Eve and wasn't sure what it entailed.
Does anyone know if their were "verbal reports" on the cable news networks on this story?

No, it hasn't "made" the usual outlets...but, after reviewing the case in extremas, I think the Ramseys are covering for the SON...a little piece of work who had the most likely motive (jealousy of her status, both in and out of the family circle), definite opportunity and unquestionable means to kill his sister. JMHO, but...think on it.
