Ya know what REALLY gets me? No hot water......our hot water pipes froze this morning

Jumped in the shower, turned on the hot water, nuthin'......I then turned on the cold water WITH the shower head STILL on, WELL.....picture this, 2 ° outside, about 54° inside, turning on the ICE COLD water only to have the shower come on

Talk about a RUDE awakening "LOL!"

Ah, but think of it...MEE-chelle, dressed as a belly-dancer, sinuously pouring hot water from the stove into the bath, pan-by-pan of it...as you bask in the steamy warmth, bringing you coffee-in-tub, massaging your tired muscles...the "Muttley Crew" standing by to cuddle you into a reverie of calm and tranquility on the freshly-made bed afterwards...almost as good as serving wenches!

Dang it....I KNEW I should have kept the shades drawn "LOL!" I put a space heater in the water heater compartment shortly after I posted this (after I thawed out "LOL!") it only took 15 minutes for them to thaw out, I saw the *hole* in the insulation on the main pipe, needless to say, it AIN'T a gonna happen again.......I only take cold showers when *I need them*

I didn't stoke the fire good enough before retiring for the night, hence the 54° inside temp! Speaking of, it's REALLY warming up.....from 2° to a BLAZING 12.4° LOL!

You are supposed to leave your water trickling so the pipes will not freeze. LOL!! Poor Snowman.

Actually, we've got heat tape on the main water suppy and heat tape TO the water heater, the problem, there was ONE little spot that the factory, when they built this house, missed, it's about the size of a golf ball, THAT'S were it froze but rest assured, like I said, it ain't a gonna happen again, I put more insulation around that spot! "Shhhh Ed.....your NOT suppose to let everyone know "LOL!"

Oh, I could remember those days of having to deal with no hot water, heck, I even have to fill a bathtub half full of boiling water and just turned on the faucet after that until it reaches the right temperature.
