I was watching the news last night, they did a short story of all the top stories of 2003, I would have to say the most memorable story for me was the Explosion of the Space Shuttle Columbia on re entry over Az., New Mexico and Texas!

Besides all the GOOD news on the war front, the most memorable (and still unsolved) story for me has to be the disappearance and whereabouts of Dru Sjodin.

There were so many stories. With the war, I almost forgot about the Columbia tragedy.
My other two would be the announcement that we were invading Iraq and then that we captured Saddam Hussein.

Definitely a few weeks ago when Saddam was caught. However, the COlumbia tragedy on Feb. 1 is a close second.
