earthquake

Hit Mexico this evening measuring 5.7 on the Richter Scale. Centered on the Mexican Pacific Coast, but could be felt as far away as Mexico City. No immediate word on injuries or damage.

I was going to say that ticka. But, one thing is for certain... there have been way too many earthquakes, very unusual.

There have been more frequent earthquakes above 5.0 on the Richter Scale. Earthquakes between 1.0 and say 3.9 are fairly common across the world.

I believe the average number world wide is 1 million a year. Here is a nice
world map of quakes that updates when they happen. You can click on the quake to zoom in for additional info.
