Could be worse. What if John Asscroft oops I mean Ashcroft was nominated?

I agree Bill!!
sunnyday... I want you to read this article(click the link) and justify why you made your statement. Rumsfeld should be commended for making the statement about our troops getting the Man of the Year Award.

Rainstorm is only far to the right when the situation calls for it.. Depends on what way will get the biggest argument going on the boards. She will flop on issues in a heart beat.

Well, sunnyday...
If you don't like "guessing", please clarify your comments and preferences. WE do, unabashedly!

I hope you all enjoy making me the butt of your jokes. I say what I feel and receive all manner of cruel remarks. If people don't agree with you, they are not treated nicely.

You absolutely have every right to your opinion. I try not to get involved in political discussions, but I feel I need to say something here. I have noticed during my time on this board that most of the time when someone speaks out against a republican, or in favor of a democrat, they are immediately attacked. To say this board is balanced is to say that 90% (conservatives) and 10% (not conservatives) are equal.
I just feel there is such a conservative bias on this board that people with a different opinion are, or will be, afraid to express their opinion.

When people make blanket statements like that with absolutely no other reasoning or explanation behind it I am going to respond. I do the same thing for comments from the right of the fence as well.

I agree Marshall!! Can we say rainstorm? lol.
If you are going to get into the political debate, it is a sure bet that things will get heated, whether on this board or another. No one attacks opinions but when you make a one sentence statement with no facts or reason, then expect to be asked why.
