If they had these...what else did they have (which may now be "hosted" in Ba'athist Syria according to Dutch sources, among others)?
The hunt continues...and SHOULD.

im NOT defending him...he had them and refused to let the UN weapons inspectors access to his WMD programs. theres no doubt that saddam had them at that time...and had them now...
but with that said i dont think you will find anything new buried under the that sand...most likely the weapons have somehow gotten legs and walked across the border into syria. or been destroyed prior to the start of the war.

I doubt very much that they've been destroyed. More likely they're in Syria.

But, let us remenber the medium range missiles (over the 90 km limit) Saddam fired at us, the bio-chem suits, atropine kits, chemicals found by Marines in water tests in the Tigris while we were still "on the move", the mobile weapons trailers (stripped, but there), documents and parts of nuclear enrichment equipment found in private homes...all "banned' under UN sanctions.
Where there were some, there is more to be discovered; whether in Syria or buried in the sands, I believe we have yet to scratch the surface.

I am sure he had the chemical weapons and as Deb said they may be in Syria but either way we dethroned a Terrible murderous Dictator. I need no proof of Chemical weapons. He did far more damage than any chemical weapon know to man.

I wonder if anyone checked Saddam Hussein's armpits and socks yet?
