Wonderful news, John..and I have some for YOU, too!
I found an Episcopal Church in Sikeston...St. Paul's, and I am now a communicant in good standing, and awaiting training for licensure as a lay liturgist.

This, after 13 years without a church "home" of my own...

St. Pauls is SO tiny that it would take at least 6 of them to fill the local Baptist buildings...plus, it's hard to see, nestled between the hospital and the medical center.
I learned, however, that it's one of the oldest churches in the city...it even has a "hammer-beam" supported roof, VERY unusual in this day and age.
The congregation is equally small, but very friendly, and COMMITTED...an unexpected pleasure!

coppertop went with me, in his "personal search" to the Epiphany service...I've spent the past week explaining what he saw and heard (although christened in the Communion, the vast majority of his experience has been in the Baptist faith, as Debi practices).
I have no interest in telling him WHAT to "think"....rather, HOW to think, so he can make a rational and informed decision when it comes time.

Congrats to both of you!!!.
It is important to have a spiritual home.
Has anyone seen the Way of the Master on TBN? A couple from my Sunday school class brought it in and I watched the first part.
THe web site is cool too:
http://www.wayofthemaster.com
It has Kurt Cameron and Ray Comfort. Most people will reconize Kurt from his 80''s 90's show growing pains. He has started in several Movies: Left Behind, Left Behind 2 and miracle of the cards
