ROFLMBO!! I have not done this maneuver yet. But I have lost control of my waverunner and skimmed across the top of the water losing the bottom of my bathing suit. Never did find it. Thank goodness for the beach towel and shorts. :D

OMG - that is hilarious and pathetic at the same time. My dad owned a boat and years ago I used to go camping/boating a lot. My dad told me once and it only took once to sink in (I'm not a swimmer), that many accidents happen at boat ramps. That people just don't know what they're doing sometimes. So I made darn sure I never stayed in that car/truck when it was backing down. I was way over on a bank somewhere.....:-) I was prepared to walk even if there was a line waiting to launch. I just said let me out of this car!!!

LOL!! I have a similar picture like that, except this driver drove into a hole full of water. Luckily the driver made it out alive, unfortunately, the car didn't.

Chad - do you have a link for that boat ramp scene? I have a neighbor with 2 jet ski's....she'd think that was funny. Thanks.

LOL! Chad

Linda, one time my family and I were at a water slide park in Pigeon Forge, TN and at the bottom of the slide there was a woman who had lost her bikini bra part somehow after reaching the shadow end of the ride! My Dad was somewhere within eye-view of the incident and said (but not in her ear-shot thankfully!)...anyway, he says "OH SHUCKS!" (as he didn't have his eyeglasses on at that time). A few weeks later from some friends who were with us that day at the park...a postcard came for Dad with a pair of eyeglasses drawn on it and the words "OH SHUCKS!"

TOO FUNNY! I witnessed almost the same episode, only it was an Apache County Sheriffs Dept Blazer, launched his boat for the 4th of July 3 years ago, same thing!

During those fun filled boating days with my family, we saw all sorts of things at boat ramps, marina's, just out in the lake. Let's just say my dad kept the binoc's nearby!!! The funniest thing I ever saw were a group of drunk guys sitting in their boat, waiting to pull it out. But it was tied up along the bank, it was busy that day. One was so stoned or drunk, whatever, that he was barely clothed, if you get my meaning. Yes he was giving everyone a show. My dad was cracking up!!! We all said boating and alcohol just do not mix well. So when we were out skiing (I didn't but I was stuck driving the boat) and boating, we just had soda pop. Later after dinner and the card games would start up, then we'd enjoy our beer. My dad didn't have to suggest we do that many times, b/c we saw many plastered people at the lake. You just don't forget images like that and you don't want to make a fool out of yourself! Or worse, cause a serious accident.
