Car blizzards

This drives me nuts... after it snows, you get on the highway, you're moving along a a decent speed... and you get stuck behind some schmo that barely clears enough snow so they can see out their window, and figures the drive will clear the rest off. Result? Near whiteout conditions behind them! The worst is the semis, but that I can understand because they can't reach the roof of the trailer. But what's wrong with some of these people driving normal-size cars? :grr: :grr:

Just had to vent.

Gee Weatherluvr - I wish I had that problem in Texas :-)

It'll be even worse in a day or so, with people that haven't gone out. Then the snow gets crusty, and when they drive it comes off not in a powder form, but in huge slabs that hit your windshield. I've seen some near accidents this way, where a car in front of me got slammed with a single slab about the size of the car roof in front of him. The poor guy nearly swerved off the road after it hit him.

Ahh, the joys of winter in the northeast...

Weatherluvr - I know what you mean. I seem to find one of those types after every winter storm.
