Former Senator Carol Moseley-Braun (Dem, IL) is to make a statement to the press at 1:45 pm EST today, and she is expected to announce that she is dropping out of the race for President and endorsing Howard Dean's campaign.

At the same time, polls show Dean, Gephardt, Kerry and Edwards are in a "dead heat" in Iowa, while Wesley Clark is bearing down on Dean in New Hampshire.

She is a joke too and knew she did not have a chance. May as well back the loser too. Guess she knew she had no chance going against Al Sharpton. LOL!!!!!

I don't totally agree with her feelings on all issues, but I thought she came across as a nice lady. Politician or president, no. Nice neighbor, yes.

Ive said it before....the best the Democrats could do is at the bottom of the pile..Leiberman. Goes to show where their prioritys are going with an anti war candidate (Dean), and another who promises if he's elected, PROMISES there will be no other "incidents" (Clark referring to 911).

Brilliant strategy by both these losers.

Sorry to burst the bubble, but Senator John Kerry seems to have overtaken Dean as the # 1 contender in Iowa (Refreshingly Iowan? )

Maybe Edwards or Kerry can pull Iowa.

I don't think that the country is ready for a president with a hyphenated last name.
