i'm sure this has been a subject for discussion but would like to ask a few questions anyways.

1.) if you own one, what model do you have or recommend?

2.) i just graduated from my little 1.3 AIPTEK Megacam and got a Sony Cybershot DSC P72. does anyone own this particular model and if so can you offer any tips from experience?

took some pics this AM using the macro setting, was very impressed...

I have a Canon Powershot A300 that i recently purchased. I am still getting used to it but it takes pretty good pictures.

I am dreaming of the Canon Rebel Digital 6megapixel. Interchangeable Optical lenses SLR...

Makes me drool thinking about it. Currently I have a Sony Mavica 3.1 megapixel.

I've got an Olympus 3.2.......gotta LOVE that camera! It came with a 45 pix memory card.......I took the card to Walgreens the other day, used their photo making machine, 29 cents per pix, they came out GREAT! I've printed pix on my own pc BUT...with time, they fade, with the Kodak pix maker, they guarantee them NOT TO, we'll see!

Hey Dennis..

How do you use that Kodac machine.. Ive always wanted to have some of my pics printed from my digital, but never knew how that machine worked. Do you just take in your memory card, or can you take in a cd?

I have a Cannon powershot A40 and am very happy with it.. its not great at close up's, but does the trick..

I have a canon powershot A60 and so does one of my roomates...my brother has a canon powershot A70 and so does my other roomate! We love our canons!

I have an Olympus D-520Zoom and LOVE IT. 2.1 Mega pixles. it records movies (no sound)
3 x optical zoom and 4.5 digital
USB with built in drivers (go to any puter to see pics)
comes with 16MB card I have a 128MB as well
GLASS LENSE
Macro mode

I am happy with it

wow vance, yours sounds pretty close to mine with the difference being mine is 3.2 MP and can record sound. got the 128 MB stick also and wondering what's the point of the factory 16 MB as it barely holds anything. love the built in driver feature as well, so handy versus having to install a seperate program. p

I have a Kodak Easyshare 3.2 megapixel.... just got it, but it's the best I've had yet! Also have the 128 MB memory card, can't wait to take some beautiful pictures (but I am waiting, don't want frostbite!!)

16MB card is good when you turn down the res. AT high res you can take like 9 pics. At med res you can take 30 and at Low res you can take 60 or more. The Low res is the average picture size. With my 128 I have my pics res at Med 1024 x 768 and am very pleased with it, and I can take well over 700 pics

I just upgraded to an Olympus 750 zoom and I love it
4 MP and a 10X optical zoom!
you can really zoom in on far away objects
I takes awesome pictures!
It uses an xd-picture card
and it takes movies with sound which is really fun!

hoping to get really good high res shots for i've been using a print service to reproduce my artwork and so far i have been pleased with the quality. the benefit is that they offer large size prints at inexpensive prices... p

Q about printing digital pics at home. Is it the paper that makes the difference or ink, or is the Kodak machine just that much better. We bought a Kodak photo printer, but I'm just not satisfied with the print.

I've used a Sony 2.0 Megapixel for all my Emma shots these past two years, but just moved one step up to a 4.1 Megapixel that Gateway makes available. My goal was at least a 3.2 Megapixel that would cost me less than $300.

The reason is simple. I'm hard on cameras. I'll cry like a baby if something happens to this one, but had I put more money into it and then dropped it in the pool...well, the psych bill at $90 a trip would just add to my woes!

This does a nice job though. Shows all the well-earned wrinkles and flaws on Poppysky from 165 feet away!

Steve~ send me a photo from each, I want to see the quality difference.

What did we ever do before digital cams? They are so cool, so handy, and so much fun!

Furry, I have the same problem, and I refuse to give up! I have a brand new HP Inkjet and Kodak photo paper. Why do my pictures look so crummy??
