ROFL @ blizzard. There will never be another JFK. Matter of fact, all the registered Democrats from back then still think of that party as JFK. Have times changed!! Hope that makes sense. lol.

THIS sort of background should be widely distributed after the primaries (if Kerry gets the "nod").

As to GW being either a "deserter" (Michael Moore) or having no military service (what, the Texas Air National Guard doesn't count? He was an F-104 Delta Dagger pilot...all-weather supersonic interceptor specifically designed as a gun platfrom to down Russian bombers)....strictly BS.

He didn't get those AF wings from a Cracker Jack box.

One day the glamour is going to come off Camelot as well. JFK was far from the saint he's made out to be. I think historians further down the road will be a little less kind to his Presidency.

I believe historians are already hinting at doing that now.

Funny how money can get you out of just about anything, isn't it? I was not impressed with the Kennedys.
Wonder what this country would be like if say a farmer or some regular guy or lady like some of us was president?

That's indeed true. Senator Kerry has voted the same as Senator Kennedy 94% or 96% of the time, temporarily forget which one specifically.

I wonder which bills they had different opinions on...

Bush has a horrible military record...He friggin' dissapeared how many times? Yet nobody likes to talk about that...Not even the "liberal" media. Kerry has a MUCH better military record than Bush, so let's not even go there people...

Just because someone has a so called great military record does not make them able to President of the United States. Even though you say this I can guarantee the military is the first place he starts balancing the budget. Read your history on Dems and the military.

You are correct there my friend. There hasn't been a president yet that has been lily white...

Bush doesn't start every speech by mentioning what a great military guy he was either! Kerry has used his positive military record as a platform for why he should be President without mentioning that he denounced that record imediately after returning from Vietnam while his "buddies" were still dying over there. That is why I take exception!
