OK, my answer was partially correct, there are 4 states of matter considered "ordinary". So I gave the ordinary answer, does that at least count for 1/2 a credit? lol

Ok ok ok lol...
The answer is 6: solid, liquid, gas, plasma, Bose-Einstein condensate, and fermionic condensate. The 6th state was just recent discovered by scientists. Here is an article:
