I am not republican, democrat nor independent as I live outside the US mainland so I am neutral when the US elections and politics are concerned and because of that I am posting this message that John Kerry delivered in Virginia which I consider is very important and now it is for all of you who live in the US to discuss this as it looks like he will be the rival against Bush in the election.

People like John Kerry fly across the country from NY to DC to LA...and the only views they get are those that agree with theirs. Ignoring, of course, all the people across the fruited plain they're FLYING over!

So, who's "out of touch"? Three guesses, and the first two don't count.

Kerry quote: "I don't think they're mainstream at all," he said. "And I think Americans want change and want to move in a stronger position for our country."

I wonder what kind of change he means. The soaring economy to plummet? The low inflation to rise? The dropping unemployment to rise? Take money away from our heroic military? Put the evil Saddam back into power? Let terrorists walk all over us? Take dignity out of the White House? Make the oval office X-rated again? Raise taxes so consumers spend less? Care more for our trees than our unborn babies?

Shall I go on?

.....and George Bush...

...as this statement could be used about the Bush administration 4 years ago too. In fact, you could say that about all the candidates.

Really? GW has a "WORKING" ranch, and pitches hay, grooms his horses, takes care of his cattle, etc. when he's there; I don't see any of the Democrats in any hurry to get their hands dirty...if they ever DID.

Besides, Bush is an unabashed man of faith...as are 67% of the "unwashed multitude" out there BETWEEN both Left Coasts. None of the current DNC lot has a strong faith/church attendance record, much less a voting record that reflects religious values, and that fact will resonate with many voters.
