I didn't see the interview, but read the transcript. I don't think it changed anyone's mind either way.
I am not quite sure why people say "The president lied to us" when in fact, the president, along with congress, made the decision to go to war with Iraq.
Did Iraq have WMD's? I dont' know and if the truth was really known, no one knows for sure either way. However, if Iraq did have them, they'll be found. If they didn't have them, I still believe the US had legitimate reasons for going in and removing SH from power.

Should have been Rumsfeld or Cheney that spoke on this show. Had Bush spoke, he should have addressed the nation

i think hes a little prick, who when called on the carpet about his choice to go to war, folded like the accordion. all it did was confirm his weakness as a leader and show the nation that he is NOT a trustworthy individual.

Opinions are like something else everyone has...
How can you call a President who has led this country through one of the most devastating events since Pearl Harbor weak? You need to read a history book and put these events in perspective. You may know weather but your choice of a Presidential candidate leaves a lot to be desired. I guess you prefer Clinton's law enforcement and containment policy. That's what led to 9-11.....

Exactly! He has proven himself to be a strong leader. Why anyone would prefer Kerry, who doesn't have 3+ years of proven leadership in very difficult times is beyond me!

QUote from Kerry's own website..
Homeland Security - John Kerry believes we shouldn’t be opening firehouses in Baghdad and closing them in Brooklyn. Our first defenders should never come in last in the budget. Firefighters are first up the stairs and John Kerry believes they deserve to be first in line when we decide our spending priorities.
Firefighters first in line for priorities? Firefighters do a wonderful job but first on homeland security priorities?
Homeland Security - Calling on the Private Sector to Help Bring Technological Innovations to the War on Terrorism. During World War II, the U.S. government brought together our greatest thinkers, scientists, academics and policymakers through the Manhattan Project to design new tools for warfare. John Kerry believes we need a similar effort to bring the advances of the 21st century to the War on Terrorism. This should include: gathering the nation’s greatest scientists to develop needed vaccines and antidotes to the biological and chemical scourges ....
We're going to need that because with his plan to return to the Clinton policies on terrorists we're going to need antidotes!
Homeland Security - Creating a New Community Defense Service. This service would be comprised of hundreds of thousands of Americans in neighborhoods all over the country. Volunteer Service Captains would receive training and education to assist their communities in the event of an attack Like the Civil Defense Program that existed during World War II, service captains would act as a 21st century Neighborhood Watch. They would be trained to help identify local health professionals and experts in the area, provide information on local evacuation or quarantine plans, and stand ready to be of assistance to first defenders in the hours after an attack -- providing needed manpower to deal with the aftermath.
See comment above!
Homeland Security - Many of the examinations of 9/11 have raised serious questions about whether the FBI is the right agency to conduct domestic intelligence collection and analysis given their fundamental mission is to catch and prosecute criminals. The Bush Administration’s proposed terrorist threat integration center, (TTIC) would not be able to do the job, given its dependence on other agencies' analysts, the bureaucratic divide created between people identifying vulnerabilities and individuals charged with eliminating those vulnerabilities, and the numerous people in charge that could complicate efforts to work with the states and local governments on information sharing. John Kerry believes that simplifying the bureaucratic charts makes more sense. America needs an independent intelligence capability that focuses explicitly on domestic intelligence.
There's a reason the CIA isn't allowed to operate in the US....the last thing we need is another inteligence service that doesn't share information!
I personally challenge eash member of the board to educate yourself on the policies of both candidates. Vote for whoever you think has the ideas and strength to carry out those ideas!

President Busy is very tired, not weak in the way some may describe.

I still can't figure out why the President decided to go on Meet the Press. IMHO, there could be no positive outcome. If he felt that his decision to go to war needed to be defended, he should have sent an insider like Cheney (where is Cheney, btw?) or someone like Condy Rice.
The Office of the President is above the Sunday talk shows. It doesn't matter who occupies it. By appearing with Mr. Russert, President Bush demeaned the Office and, unfortunately, himself. He appeared weak, ill-prepared and tired.
Whatever good he was trying to accomplish was lost. Oh, those folks who support him will continue to do so. And the peaceniks will not. But the folks in the middle - like myself - will now have a harder time making up our minds.
I am not a Kerry fan by any stretch of the imagination. Seriously. And I felt that the President made the right decision about the war, based on the information he had at the time. That's why I don't think anyone who voted Yes for going to war was wrong.
But the President's answers on Meet the Press seemd so evasive that now I am wondering, "Did he know more?"
He'd have done better to stay in the White House.
As always, just my 2 cents.

That's kind of a silly question Blizzard. The congress overwhelmingly voted to go to war. Short memory maybe?

I would like to state my opinion, but I have been bashed each time I've said anything negative about Bush. It hurts, and I've had to keep my opinions to myself. I do notice that not everyone is bashed; I guess I'm just lucky.
The sad thing is that I have nothing against him as a person. I appreciate the fact that he is a Christian.

Sorry sunnday. Your opinion matters here. Good to see you.
