The democratic field of candidates narrows as Clark quits

Wes Clark will announce at 3:00 PM EST at Little Rock Arkansas that he will not continue his quest for the presidency.Now Kerry is on the virge to get the nomination as super tuesday comes at march 2 when 10 states including New York,Ohio and California will have primarys and he gets the delegates needed to get the nomination.

This is good news. Now the field is essentially narrowed to Kerry and Edwards. If Kerry wins, Bush has my vote.

Well, Dean could move ahead. Clark was his main competitor, some have said.

Yes JQ as I type this he is announcing officially that he is dropping out.

This is my opinion.. It will be Kerry and Edwards because Dean will end up dropping out as well

John Edwards has already said that he won't accept a Vice Prewsidential nod.
However, this opens the way for Kerry to draft Hillary Rodham Clinton as his VP...it would certainly place her in a better position to run in 2008.
Another possibility is Governor Bill Richardson (D, New Mexico)...a Latino who might get some leverage in a rising minority which both parties are courting.
