Role Models

Real role models are scarce these days. In part that is due to the fact that we are human. We all have flaws.

Still, it seems to me that some of the people who could be, don't want to be. As if it is a burden or too much of a load.

I'd be interested in knowing who in government or sports or entertainment that you might see as a positive role model and influence.

Not necessarily perfect, but at least someone who seems to respect that they play a part in helping, not discrediting, the better attributes that we humans might have.

My role models and my heroes were people I still contact with. My teachers. They all taught me something, gave me reasons to learn things and made me a brighter human being..

Teachers are real heroes and role models to many

Good responses for sure. Those who find ways to put others above self seem to fit the definition.

Imagine if a baseball player who could bat a career .375, hit 50 home runs a year, and stay with the same team for 20 years because he loved the fans would ask for only $1 million a year for the good of the game.

Like I said...use your imagination since it seems it will never happen.
