I won't write out the whole thing cause she was long winded this month but I will fill you in on the highlights.

* They have their academic testing this Friday. and sometime during this week is her PRT test.

* She feels her hardest area is push-ups but they are doing 3 set of 20 a day during PRT.

* She ran a mile and a half in 14:36. The grad requirement is 13:56, but she is upbeat saying that the "real deal" is on the road which will help her because she does better with landmarks. She doesn't care for running in circles around the track.

* She wants to thank everyone who sent their best wishes and she is going to try her hardest on March 5th. She also gets to see her family soon and she is looking forward to that!

Can't believe her basic training is close to being over - seems like she was just telling us she was joining.

Great that she is doing very well there and the final test is comming on march 5 however I know that she will pass it.Garrett thanks for sharing the letter with us.

We haven't seen Crouton the pig around these parts forever. I'm going to find that little piggy and send him (or is it her) on Shannon's tail during that distance run. She'll break that 13.56 mark for sure then.

Thanks for sharing the letter. Maybe she'll graduate the same day Bronwyn becomes a new mom and we'll have one heck of a party to celebrate!
