This is in a serious vein. I can't vote for Kerry or Bush, so who (not Nader, either).

As I said, he isn't someone I would vote for, but neither is Kerry.

No problem that you didn't see that. I really am in a dilemma.

I will most likely be voting for Bush. I won't vote third party. It doesn't do any good in a national election.

Well, you're pro-life. Let that VERY important issue be your deciding factor. The only logical choice for me is Bush. :)

Lay out for yourself what your beliefs are, then pick the candidate that most closely fits those beliefs. Your only other choice is not to vote at all, but that would invalidate your right to complain...LOL.

Sometimes you can vote for the man. Sometimes you can vote for the party. Sometimes you can vote for the agenda. Sometimes you can vote for the potential.

Your vote should never be a negative one. In other words, you don't vote for one candidate because you can't stand the other.

This next election, the criteria seems to be more about who truly can stand tallest against the dark side and whether we believe expanded partisan politics will really result in the creation of new jobs over the next four years.

Specifically, why can't you vote for Bush, Kerry, or Nader? Doesn't leave you many options, does it?

I too am not sure who to vote for yet. But I will make sure I find out everything I can about all candidates prior to the election. And then I will see who I feel is the best one.

I think I'd be having the same issue if I was going to be old enough to vote in this upcoming presidential election... I certainly agree with more of Kerry's views, yet he, like all too many Democrats, seems insincere, as if most of his "opinions" are simply whatever he thinks will win him votes (example: the flip-flopping on the issue of gay marriage). There's no way in hell I'd vote for Bush regardless of his sincerity/intent, so I guess that leaves the third party candidates who have no chance of being elected . Oh well, at least I have until November 2008 to make up my mind on how I'll go about choosing a candidate to vote for.

That's why we always get the same thing no matter who gets elected. Why is everyone afraid to elect a third party canidate? Do you think they will run the country into the ground? Look around we are not far from it. Bush started with a $200 billion surplus and now we are $500 billion in the hole.
