I have gotten two letters from Shannon, but I got my first one when Garrett got his second one and they said virtually the same thing (and boy he wasn't kidding, that girl can write when she wants to LOL!) but here is the latest news!

Ok, here is the news that everyone at S2K has been waiting for! My progress----> Grad requirements

Grad Requirements:
27 push-ups
50 sit-ups
13:56 1 1/2 mi. run

My accomplishments:
29 push-ups
60 sit-ups
13:20 1 1/2 mi. run (!!)

That's only the start! We had honor flight drill on Thursday. We finally worked our way through the honor drill card Wednesday night/Thursday morning. Our evaluation was Thursday at 11:00. We surprisingly pulled off an awesome score of -5. Yes it was a minus score, but most of the flights receive -10. My flight (A flight) had -5, and our other flights (B flight, the rest of the guys and girls) received -8. We averaged the score to get -6.5 for both flights.

The next obstacle---> the academic test. Oh joy. Ssgt. Mendoza had Burger King on the line for Saturday if 20 girls received 90% or more- we had 13! I cranked out a 93%- it was an easy test. Even though it was a standardized test, I still surprised myself. I do not do well on bubble sheets!

So all excellent news to pass on! Thanks for the support S2K!
