I would like to take this time to thank all the admins and mods and wonderful members here at Storm2K for all the wonderful work they do. They go above and beyond the call of duty to keep this board running smoothly. It is a thankless job most of the time, but I would like to thank each and every one of you for the superior job you do.

Many times I have disagreed with the mods and admin (especially politically) but they have allowed and informed and educated debate.

This message board is an active and successful one thanks to all of your hard work. I am sure many many others here will agree that STORM2K IS THE BEST BOARD ON THE NET!!!

I am right there with you, WX! The mods and admins at S2K are easy to communicate with. If there is a problem, they usually are right on it.

Garrett - you're a gem, did you know that??

We have great members that come here from all walks of life with one common bond - their love of weather. It has been an absolute joy to meet all of you and share our thoughts together (yes, even politics). I've learned alot from all of you out there and alot about myself. Let's all work together to help keep S2K the best board out there!

Amen to those in charge...but never forget that people like you, Garrett, who find ways to spur discussion and healthy interaction, make their job an easy one.

Storm2k is unique in that there is high level of respect for what we have here...so much so that there is plenty of self-policing going on. People know a good thing when they see it and work hard to preserve it.

I have to agree with Garrett and everyone above. I spend almost every minute that I am online, here at Storm2K, while accessing weather and non-weather related sites.

As I have said before, I wouldn't come here even half the time I do if I didn't feel comfortable with others interested in corresponding with the great many of you; about the weather (our common bond) and other issues that I feel like bringing up. It is extremely enjoyable to not get intimidated by posting what is on our mind to discuss, no matter how insigificant it may be..... insigificant posts can and do lead to some interesting discussions

Thank you very much, administrators, fellow moderators, the "core members," and the rest of you.

I agree wholeheartedly...especially with the "disagreeing w/ the mods about politics part". you'd be amazed at how much we also have in common

You all know me as one who seems to always have my $17.98 worth to say (adjusted for inflation), but...after the dust settles, friendship outweighs the temporary insanity of "hot button" political opinions. Or, it should.

This is such a very good point Bill. Just because we don't agree on everything doesn't mean we should end our friendship. And everyone's opinion is important as long as it is kept clean and there isn't any bashing. This is where I think the mods and admin do the best job.

I second that Garrett!! We have alot of dedicated members here, who even though we may disagree, always come out better friends in the end. There are always the ones that come here to cause trouble and move on, but that is okay because who needs them anyway.

The vision of S2K is to be family oriented and troll free. If they do not want to see that then they can go somewhere else. We are a family here and I appreciate everyone here from the old friends right down to the new friends.
