The F word during the pre-Oscars show?

I was reading through http://www.imdb.com's Oscar news and there was a poll, asking what the biggest surprise of the night was. One of the choices was something about Renee Zellwegger using the F word during the "Countdown to the Oscars" on ABC. I still had it saved on my DVR, so I fast-forwarded through and found where the guy was interviewing Nicole Kidman and Renee at about 4 minutes before the ceremony. He asked Nicole is she was proud of her co-star. She said she was proud of her and waiting for her (Renee's) award. "It's gotta hurry up. I'm nervous." Then he turned to Renee and asked how she was. "I'm presenting and I'm terrified. I'm terrified. And I just want to ______ get that right. It's a golden night, you know." The interviewer started to say, "So, it's not even the nomination, it's the presenta--" and then Nicole cut him off, asking Renee, "Did you just swear? I think you just swore!" Renee replied, "Did I swear?" and she thought about it for a second and added, "I did not!" Nicole said, "She said something---." Renee said, "I didn't." And Nicole finished with, "I'm hearing things."
It must have slipped by me the first time and now that I know what they're assuming she said, it does sort of sound like it. But then again, it also sounds like she could have been saying, "I just want to finally get that right" with too much nervous speed on the word "finally" so it sounds like "fine-y."
Did anyone else catch it or hear any entertainment gossip shows talk about it? I find it hard to believe that a gal with such class actually cussed on the air (outside of scripted cussing for a role).
