Don't know how many of you wear boots, any kind of boots, cowboy, work, tactical boots like I wear, but here's where I buy my boots from, in fact, I just ordered another pair, working these dogs 3 days per week, hiking over 20 miles per week, I'm ROUGH on boots!

I had a pair of Wolverine hiking boots that lasted me many years. They were above the ankle style, insulated, vibram sole, and they sure felt good. I'm sure that I don't put in the miles that you do Dennis, but I definitely got my money's worth out of them. I liked the style and found a copy cat (Colorado) which are not quite the same quality, but are holding up pretty good. I've always wanted a pair of Doc Martens, and one of these years I will get me some.

Hey there Snowman...of course you need boots! That friend of ours from Illinois bought two pair down there at the boot factory in Tucson when he was here last months. Says it takes about 10 weeks before they are "built."

Must be quite a place.

I wore my jungle boots from Vietnam for a lot of years until they finally ripped out. That was the last pair of boots for me.

I'd LOVE a pair of those new "Arctic-to-Desert" combat boots that have come out...whatever the outside conditions, the INSIDE is always a comfortable and dry 85F! Sadly, those are $300+ a pair; in the meantime, a pair of basic, B-flat Air-Tec Magnums will do nicely!

I use to buy these boots locally at Popular Outdoor Outfitters at 1/2 price of what they cost via internet, OH WELL......no matter the price, my feet are WORTH it! I ordered the new Stealth, a little pricey but, like I said, as bad as my feet are from 20 years of standing on concrete, ANY price is worth the sacrifice! The thing about these boots, even as much as we hike, they last at least 2 years! I had a pair of Whites (the most expensive pair of boots you can buy).....they are the choice of Wildland Firefighters, they have a lifetime warrenty on them, you send them in at the end of the fire season, have them *rebuilt* at the factory, I had my mine rebuilt 5 times and they FINALLY gave out.
