While waiting for my first appointment in the reception room of a new dentist, I noticed his certificate, which bore his full name. Suddenly, I remembered that a tall, handsome boy with the same name had been in my high school class some 30 years ago.

Upon seeing him, however, I quickly discarded any such thought. This balding, gray-haired man with a deeply lined face was way too old to have been my classmate. After he had examined my teeth, I asked him if he had attended the local high school.

"Yes," he replied.

"When did you graduate?" I asked.

He answered, "In 1967. Why?"

"You were in my class!" I exclaimed.

He looked at me closely and then asked. "Well I'll be! What did you teach?"

Ouch!!!! ROFL!!!

I guess it's a case of "be careful what you ask..."

I went to my 20-year class reunion at a place where there were multiple parties going on. Having been 10 years since the last one I had attended, I began looking around and noticed a room full of old people. Couldn't be where our party is, could it?

Yup, it was.

My next reunion will be 40 years! It may be held in the geriatric suite at the Hyatt...the one with no steps, only ramps, and double doors in case an ambulance is needed.

The party will probably start at 5. Drinking will only be allowed after 9 for those who can stay up that long.

Where did all those years go?
