I've had this on our fridge for a long time...and it seems to fit most Monday morning's better than others. Some of you may have heard it before.

Dear Lord, So far today I've done alright. I haven't gossiped, and I haven't lost my temper. I haven't been greedy, grumpy, nasty, selfish or overindulgent.

But in a few minutes, God, I'm going to get out of bed and from then on I'm probaby going to need a whole LOT of help. Amen.
