OK...St Patrick's Day, and green is the color of the day.
What are some of your favorite green things, past and present?
My 1967 Mustang, for one. Seems like it was called Hunter Green.

Shamrock houseplants!!! They're my favorite plant, so much so that I planted the pods in the ground one year in an area protected from strong westerly winds. And they came up right away. I didn't think they'd survive winter but they did. So now I still have people who wander over to that spot in my yard and ask - are those Shamrock plants? Amazing is what they say (we are zone 5, and we do have cold winters).

I don't need to wear green on St. Paddy's Day.

My name is Irish enough.
Actually, I read somewhere a few years ago that in Ireland, they don't go for wearing green either. Something to do with the whole Catholic v. Protestants thing -- the green on the flag of Ireland represents the native Irish, who are predominantly Catholic, the orange represents the British-supporters, most of whom are Protestant, and the white represents the peace between the two.
But then again, I don't live in Ireland, do I? Just thought it was interesting trivia.
Green eyes would count as my faves.

Forgot about green beer.....I got sick on that once....he he Or was it the 12+ hours of lunching/drinking/bar hopping that did it? LOL Yes that was back in my 'wild' days, not that I was really crazy then, just partied with friends each week. And St. Pat's Day fell on a Saturday that year. We began the day with a very long lunch, real food mind you, and then by 4 p.m., we were hitting up a few irish pub's in Cincinnati. We ended up at the best one of all, Flanagan's, but it was torn down to make way for the new Bengal's Stadium....

But I'm getting off track here.....green beer, yeah that's a must on St. Pat's Day if you're in a pub!!!
