"WASHINGTON, DC - ALL DC SCHOOLS - SCHOOL BOMB THREAT - MPD HAS RECIEVED AN AS YET TO VERIFIED BOMB THREAT SUGGESTING MULTIPLE IED'S DC SCHOOLS. ALL SCHOOLS TO BE SEARCHED. USING DC AND MUTUAL AID K-9INCLUDING PARK POLICE AND SECRET SERVICE . . . SOME BUT
NOT ALL SCHOOLS BEING EVACUATED A/T/T"

Just read this on abc.com's website. If I had a child in that school district, I'd be dismissing her right this minute. I'm surprised all schools haven't been dismissed already. Why take chances?

I wouldn't be worried. Bomb threats happen quite often. Most of the time they are done by kids just wanting to disrupt class for a while...after the police do their search, if nothing is found, I think classes should resume.
