One Request to Everyone

If war erupts in either Iraq or on the Korean Peninsula in the upcoming days, I would like to ask everyone to forget about their own political ideologies and show some unity by supporting our troops and our leadership. While I do not like Bush (voted for Buchanan), I will do the same as I did during the Kosovo War and support the president and the administration, along with the troops until the termination on hostilities. I would like everyone else to do the same. Debates over tactics are fine as those are constantly ongoing. But lets end all of the pure anti-Bush rheoric the minute that hostilities begin

Thank you rainstorm for jumping on the bandwagon - there is a time and place for each's own opinion and this shows your support for the USA.

I believe we need to support our troops. If this is the decision our President and staff members made, then I respect that and hope that it is for the best. I also hope it is a speedy war with minimal loss of life.

Problem is, is that most here are leaning towards favoring a war itslef. Do we really want to thrust ourselves into this? I think if we had more time we could talk more like the rest of the world wants.

I agree 100% with Derek about supporting the troops regardess of political considerations.

Rob we are going to roll this week and I know that it is not good to go without UN backing but the position of France was way to large window 30 days that favors Saddam 100% the more delays so let's get this over and move on to North Korea.

Well again let me stress that evertone here THINKS we are going to war within say 3 days time. I'm not buying it one bit. More can be said about talks of peace opposed to shooting and bombing and asking questions later. We'll see, and if I'm wrong, I'm not the only one.

i still have the suspicion we are working behind

the scenes to give saddam a comfy exhile. i sure hope i am wrong. we had victory in our hands in 91, i hope we follow through this time. saddam should be tried and executed by an iraqi court, not given exhile so he can fund terrorism against us. i am very worried about this. bill o'rielly was saying saddam has a few days left. i am shocked the press is not asking any questions about saddams exhile.
