OMG!!!
That was great Duck! Good one too Bill!
Sunnyday - they're testifying together because it was offered to them as an option (or concession) to get President Bush to testify infront of the commission.

I didn't say they shouldn't testify together; I simply see no reason for it. Perhaps, the commission would get more info after questioning them separately. That way, they could ask more questions.

They're probably testifying together so they can "stick to their stories" and hide the fact that they knew about the 9/11 attack and didn't tell the public so that 3000 people would be killed and it would further their political careers if they went to war and got lots of our boys killed all in the name of freedom. Is that what you
Do ya think that's it???????
Is that what you really think???
LMBO Who put the dip in the dip da dip da dip?
Please gimmy a break!!!!
Sunny, has ABC, CBS or CNN contacted you to work for them yet?? They should. You'd do great.

Sunnyday - I think that I did in my earlier post. Normally when people are questioned they are brought in separately to determine if there are inconsistencies in a story. They made a concession to allow both of them to testify together in order to get the President and Vice President to testify before the commission.

The President is not required to appear due to seperation of powers so the President leveraged this fact in order to testify in the way he wishes. He can limit the political impact of the Executive Branch testifying, by appearing with Cheney at the same time. This way both he and the committee can claim that they got what they wanted. The commitee can say he appeared and President Bush can claim he did it because it was the right thing. Appearing with Cheney lends credence that President Bush did appeared under his own rules.
Its all about politics sunnyday.

All I did was ask a simple question, and I am being vilified. People say it's a board where both sides can ask questions freely without problems, but I can say that I am not usually treated so kindly. I have every right to stand up for what I think is right as everyone from the opposing party has. This is uncalled for.

Hey...I thought my response was civil. Its a political game by both sides.
