"Good Friday!"

This may be a little offensive to some but ya know what? This is a "GLORIOUS" day for me and my family, the day our sins were washed away, the day we gained eternal LIFE
When I survey the wondrous cross, on which the prince of glory died. My richest gain I count but loss, and pour contempt on my pride.
"And there they crucified him."
"Who His own self bare our sins in His own body on the tree, that we being dead to sins, should live unto righteous: by whose stripes ye were healed"
"For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit."
"For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin: that we might be made the righteousness of God in him"
"For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly."
But God commended his love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
And so Pilate, willing to content the people, released Barabbas unto them and delivered Jesus, when he had scourged him, to be crucified. And they clothed him with purple and platted a crown of thorns and put it about his heard, and began to salute him, Hail, King of the Jews! And they smote him on the had with a reed and did spit upon him and bowing their knees worshipped him. And when they had mocked him, they took off the purple from him and put his own clothes on him and led him out to crucify him."
"But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him and with his stripes we are healed ... and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all. He was oppressed and he was afflicted yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb so he openeth not his mouth"
"All we like sheep have gone astray, we have turned to his own way, but the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all."
"And at the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice saying, My God, my God, why has thou forsaken me?"
"For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures: And that he was buried and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures."
For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ for it is the power of God unto salvation, to everyone that believeth"
"Believest thou this?" "As many as received him to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on him name. For whosoever shall call upon the Lord shall be saved." "Now is the day of salvation." Call upon Him right now.
