I've always wondered this...I'm not trying to make anyone mad...but honestlly, if your daughter was someone like Anna Kournikova...how could you not be attracted to her?
Is it just like "professional" distancing? Or what?
I'm not a father, so maybe this is something that comes later...but I remember my friends and I always wondering about this, so I figured I'd finally ask, lol.

No will, it's a father thing - Something you'll learn with age. Honestly

Are you asking how a parent can't be attracted to their daughter if she is hot according to other men? lol..

The answer is simple..

1. It's unethical.. Parents are not ethically supposed to have relationships in that way with their children.. It also makes them look like perverts..

2. It causes incest and stuff.. If you ever saw Cruel Intentions I'm sure you saw the stepsister girl who was attracted to her step brother or something lol..

Incest is a crime just as much as rape or molestation plus it is definitely not something that God would approve of. So for morale reasons and for common sense, parents are not attracted to their children no matter how hot they are..

When you see that little one come out into the world, you change her poop (or worse) diapers, you get up in the middle of the night when she does and walk her around until she hopefully falls asleep, you put bandaids on her boo boos, you give her birthday parties, you coach her through the minefields of friends and enemies............ there's a bond there that is much stronger than anything else. A person would have to be a real nutcake to do that.

Parenthood is learned as you go. It changes you forever.

Hope that helps.

The only time I've seen an adult mention this was the old lady who taught a class I had in middle school...she was irish and this was around the time Braveheart came out and she was always talking about how cute Mel Gibson was...someone asked her what she'd do if he were her son, and she started laughing and said, "he'd just be handsome then"...

That isn't "controversy", that is just sick.
